Academic Coaching
The secret to academic success is knowing how to organize, plan, prioritize, manage time, maintain focus, self-assess, and study/work efficiently to reach your goal. However, these self-management skills, known as executive functioning skills, are not innate for most people and must be learned. Services include:
Establish goals: Understanding baseline grades and setting goals
Build executive functioning skills: focus on learning organizational skills, planning/prioritization, goal-setting, and time management
Academic guidance: understand teacher/professor expectations and meet deadlines
Extracurricular and leadership experiences: strategize to manage schoolwork around out of class experiences needed to build your profile
Ongoing Support: track progress through email, zoom, or in-person
